Privacy Policy
What we collect, what we don't, and how to reach us.
Summary
Weekends in Paris is a small editorial site. We do not run advertising, we do not sell data, and we collect the minimum information needed to understand how the site is used and to respond when readers email us.
What we collect
- Anonymous analytics. We use Umami, a privacy-respecting analytics service that does not use cookies and does not track individuals across sites. Umami records aggregate page views, referring domains, and approximate country — no IP addresses, no device fingerprints, no cross-site tracking.
- Email correspondence. If you email us at hello@weekendparis.com, we keep your message in a normal inbox so we can reply. We don't add you to any list and don't share email addresses with anyone.
What we don't do
- We don't run advertising or third-party ad trackers.
- We don't sell, rent, or share reader data.
- We don't use Google Analytics or any cookie-based tracker.
- We don't have a newsletter that needs to be unsubscribed from.
Hosting and infrastructure
The site is hosted on Vercel, which keeps standard server access logs (IP, user agent, request) for security and rate-limiting purposes. These logs are retained according to Vercel's privacy policy.
Your rights
If you're in the EU, UK, or another jurisdiction with data-protection legislation, you can ask us what we have on file for you and request deletion. Email us at hello@weekendparis.com and we'll confirm and act on the request within 30 days.
Changes to this policy
